Busy, busy…

You may be asking, where is Kate? And where are all of these so-called “awesome photos”? Well, I’ve been working extra hard to schedule and get some great photos to put up, but the weather here in Wheaton has been putting a bit of a damper on my plans. In a matter of a few weeks my portfolio and all other important info will posted and ready to go, but in the meantime…

Joel and I went to see our friends, Snacktime for Benjamin, in concert at La Spiaza a few weeks ago, and it was such a great time! Dan asked me to take a few shots throughout the night, and I had quite the challenge in that hot, packed little cafe.

They did such a great job rockin’ out!

It’s also been an exciting few weeks because I’ve been able to test some great equipment and learn how to use our newest purchase, the tilt shift lens. It’s going to be such a huge part of my style and the creativity is going to be limitless! Here’s two examples (Joel is such a great model).

Some fun things are in store soon… currently my hubby and I are partnering with our friend Nate, who heads up a t-shirt company (www.headvsheart.net), to do a few fashion shoots. It’s going to be awesome! And there are more portraits and engagements on the way, so stay tuned…
