Head vs. Heart amazingness!

28 May

Hey everyone! After 2 weeks of being in California, Joel and I are finally back and ready to hit the ground running. We worked morning ’til night for 13 days straight working on the new Miller parents’ house, and it was a blast. But at the same time we’re so glad to be back in Wheaton amongst friends, taking pictures and enjoying spring!

Before we left, we had the amazing opportunity to work on another Head vs. Heart shoot for our good friend Nate Hinners. As a photographer, I love it when the subject just goes for it, poses and is totally comfortable with being themselves in front of the camera. It makes for such a fun shoot! Here are a couple of my favorites…

Great images Kate! Love the use of the lensbaby (?) what do you shoot with?

This girl is a natural beauty showing off Nate’s shirts with style and tude. I especially love what you did in the brick corner with the angles and forced perspective with a splash of warm side light. Delicious. And my favorite shirt to boot with the vintage movie cam on it.

    Great work!
