My friend Sarah recently asked me to help her do a little photo/video project that was going to accompany a book review she was doing for Books and Culture, a website and magazine by Christianity Today. She was reviewing a book called 100 Dresses, which features photos from the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s collection of dresses. 8 interviews and hundreds of photos later, her hubby put together an awesome video with some great perspectives! It was such a cool experience, taking pictures of friends as well as people I had never met, and hearing thoughts on something you normally just don’t bring up in conversation… dresses! Here’s a few photos from the project. :)

Hey everyone! After 2 weeks of being in California, Joel and I are finally back and ready to hit the ground running. We worked morning ’til night for 13 days straight working on the new Miller parents’ house, and it was a blast. But at the same time we’re so glad to be back in Wheaton amongst friends, taking pictures and enjoying spring!

Before we left, we had the amazing opportunity to work on another Head vs. Heart shoot for our good friend Nate Hinners. As a photographer, I love it when the subject just goes for it, poses and is totally comfortable with being themselves in front of the camera. It makes for such a fun shoot! Here are a couple of my favorites…
