Namely… apple picking. It’s a new tradition in my life since marrying into the Miller fam and moving to the Midwest, and definitely my favorite fall experience… walking around an orchard, picking as you go, and then driving down the road to get fresh cider, homemade doughnuts, bratwurst, and cheese. The Millers 5 (me + Joel + his twin bro Alan + his wife Noel + their baby Indy) made a last-minute decision to hightail it up to Wisconsin on one of the few Saturdays we had free until November, and boy are we glad we did it… it was the first day the Honey Crisp apples were available! SO good.

Isn’t Jack a goob? I love that dog. He’s totally getting to be such an old man, so I cherish every second we get to still have him around. It was fun to take pictures of my parents, I take so many photos of people I’ve just met, but rarely get any “official” pictures of my own family. Here’s a few :)

My hubby’s twin brother, Alan, and his wife Noel (they’ve been on this blog twice – engagement and wedding photos!) welcomed Indy into the world in late January, and as you’ll see in these photos, she’s a total cutie. For those of you who don’t know the story, ultrasound techs told them that they’d have a boy — twice — but lo and behold, Indy came along, and we were all completely surprised! We got a text sometime after 6am, rushed to the hospital, and got to meet our little niece. Here’s a few photos from that day… it was so so special, I couldn’t help but share it!
