This next one is near and dear to my heart because these two are friends of ours – you may have seen Tim and Meg in the early days of this blog. From engagement to wedding, now I get to show you pictures of their lovely newborn little girl. I have so many memories in their home, so it was so awesome to go over there, meet the tiny, and just spend time capturing her in this place. I am so excited for Tim and Meg as they start this new journey. Woohoo!

Well Adam and Elizabeth are now married, and it was definitely a special day. In true Midwestern fashion, the weather was unpredictable – sun one moment and crazy rain the next – but it didn’t stop a beautifully intimate ceremony and a hoppin’ party into the night. The yellow color palette was cheerful enough to make everyone forget the weather and enjoy the evening! It really could not have been more perfect for these two… just a real celebration of pure joy and excitement for what’s ahead. Congratulations, you two!

It’s our busiest time of the year and I don’t think I have a free Saturday until October, which is awesome because I love to stay busy, but crazy because I have to edit my little heart out to show you what I’ve been up to! To be fair, the last 2 weeks have been vacation time for Joel and I, going to Wisconsin Dells and then to California, so I’ve had a nice break to get ready for the rest of the summer, and I’m totally ready to go. :)

I did a fun Glen Ellyn shoot with our next couple, Kevin and Gretchen, and let me tell you… I am so excited for their wedding later this year! I met with Gretchen early on to talk wedding details, and her style is so similar to mine. We both frequent the same blogs and online shops, and just listening to her talk about all the fun details of her big day… I can’t wait to shoot it!
